Baseball Tryouts

Tryouts for Panther baseball will take place as follows:

8th GRADE

Saturday, Sept. 18th     10:30 AM to 12:00

7th GRADE

Saturday, Sept. 18th      9:00 AM to 10:30

Monday, Sept. 20th        6:00 PM to 7:30

6th GRADE

Monday, Sept. 13th       6:00 PM to 7:30

Sunday, Sept. 19th       5:30 PM to 7:00

For players in 4th and 5th grades, please e-mail your name and grade to Tim Buelterman at tbeulterman@fuse.net .  If player numbers at each of these grades require a tryout, it we be announced at a later date.

• If you are NOT interested in playing on the "A" teams, you do not have to participate in the tryout process.
• If you do not participate in tryouts, YOU MUST submit your name and grade to Tim by September 20th in order for "B" team rosters to be formalized.  Any players submitting after this date will only be placed on teams with openings.  If team rosters are full, the player may not be placed on a team!

SJAC Scholarship Winners

The SJAC congratulates Kate Olding and Matt Hein as the 2010 SJAC Scholarship Award winners!  Kate is the daughter of Jeanne and Pete Olding, and was a member of the track team, also playing basketball and volleyball.  She will be attending McAuley HS in the fall.  Matt is the son of Amy and Dan, and played basketball and was on the track team.  He will attend St. Xavier HS this fall.  The recipients receive $500 each towards their tuition for the start of their high school years.  Both were nominated by an eighth grade coach, as they were chosen from a bigger pool of very deserving candidates.  Best wishes to both very deserving St. James alumni!

Panther Sports Decal Available
