St. James Softball is Going Select !!

We are moving from CYO to the Corpus Christi softball league for the 3rd-4th (U10), 7th-8th (U14) age groups. These select combo teams will play in a competitive league with all games at 5:45pm or 7:15pm on Wednesday nights at Corpus Christi. St. James is the sponsor and all practices would be at St. James fields. The season is anticipated to go from April- early July with a 15-20 game schedule including tournaments. Teams will carry 13 players maximum.  If there are girls interested in playing non-select ball, please contact Melissa Taylor to determine if there are enough girls to form non-select teams also.

3rd/4th combo and 7th/8th combo will be having select tryouts on Jan 9 at McAuley High School Gym.

6:00PM – 7:20PM – 3rd/4th graders
7:30PM-9:30PM –7th/8th graders

Please bring your own bat, helmet ,glove, gym shoes and a water bottle. IMP.: Also, please bring a signed medical waiver form which can be downloaded by clicking Here

You too CAN help!

Please don't forget to drop off your empty aluminum cans at the SJAC Field recycling bin! After you have taken off the pop top tabs to send into school, bag up your cans and help fill this bin, which in turn will provide revenue back to the Athletic Club.

New Traffic Flow at St. James Fields

If you had not already noticed, half of the parking lot at the Fields belonging to Heids' Lanes has been sealed and re-marked. With this upgrade, Heid's is looking for the middle driveway to be an IN only driveway. The north end driveway by the concession stand should be used for both IN and OUT for SJ events, and the south end driveway on the other side of the bowling alley is to be used as an OUT only path. Please try to start using the driveways in this manner.

Panther Sports Decal Available
