ST. JAMES CONCESSION STAND - HELP WANTED!
09/21/09
We need your help!
But before we ask, we need to send a huge thank you the direction of Jan Sherpenberg and Susan Rodd for running the concession stand in 2007 and 2008. They and their families did a great job turning a profit for the club and in helping Rob Tonnis to get the stand running. Now for the plea…
We need to get some very dedicated and fun loving members to help run the concessions for the future. Here are some of the particulars in taking care of it:
• Open and close the stand two nights per week during women's softball in the summer.
• Schedule workers (summer tournaments, football, women’s softball)
• Purchase supplies (each week from Sam’s) - CURRENTLY COVERED
• Schedule deliveries (beer, pop)
• Schedule health inspections (2 times / year)
One person, or even one family does not need to manage all of these tasks. We can divide the tasks up if needed. We do need someone to be the point person responsible for it. If you already spend much time at the fields, enjoy watching a lot of baseball, softball and football, and you might have teenagers interested in helping work the stand, please contact Rob Tonnis at rtonnis@yahoo.com . Many other schools have families sharing the duties of running the stand, so please consider it if you have found yourself wanting to get more involved, but not in coaching, or going to board meetings!
